Lord,
King of the universe,
Maker of all bread,
you are sovereign,
you are in control,
your ways are higher than mine,
your thoughts and wisdom higher than my thoughts,
you are alive
in your glorious body
active, interceding, moving
on behalf of those you love.
Help me to be still and know that you are God,
that my heart may trust fully, wholly in you,
resting in your power, ability, and strength.
Please help me to cast all my anxieties,
cares upon you,
releasing my control again and again to you
knowing I surrender them to perfect, capable hands.
Thank you for your call to all
who are weary and heavy laden,
for you promise your rest.
Gentle and humble Lord,
let me taste and know your rest again,
heal and replenish me with revelation of yourself,
fill my heart and mind with faith and truth,
and use me, bless me to be a blessing.
