His Sufficiency

Lord,

thank you that I’m enough,

your grace is sufficient,

I have everything I need

to live the life you have called me to.

All that I need is you.

I lay down promises,

resolutions, rigid to-dos,

and reach for your heart.

Show me your priorities,

your call, your purpose

for me in this generation.

Put in my heart your desires,

and the wisdom, knowledge,

understanding, and insight

to walk it out well.

Place me in the midst of your flock

who know and love your voice.

Your yoke is easy

and your burden is light,

affirm my path with your peace and joy,

and let my ways please and delight you.

Have your way in me,

and be pleased to show me your ways.
