Cherish The Lord

Lord,

I praise you,

you are the Aleph and the Tav,

the beginning and the end,

uncreated One,

who was and is and is to come.

I bless you Lord

for being the author and perfecter of my faith,

cherishing my eternal soul,

knowing how to guide this wayward free will

back to you,

time and again.

I ask you for the fear of the Lord,

the spirit of wisdom, knowledge,

understanding, discernment, and insight,

counsel, and might to know you

and walk in your ways.

Please don’t let me go,

take me deeper into your love,

let me never tire of gazing into your holy Mystery,

and help me to be faithful,

trusting in you to the end.
