I like this, never thought about it like that… such a great and true perspective! I would add.. to love someone, is to love them just as and who they currently are… with all the warts & blemishes… after all, who says they are warts & blemishes anyway… the worlds standards? Maybe the Potter in His wisdom, lovingly created these “imperfections” as beauty marks! Blessings to you!
Oh I love what you shared. Yes… “imperfections as beauty marks!” indeed, and maybe portals to His love and grace. ❤ I have also heard "total unconditional acceptance" as another definition of love, which I was sweetly reminded of with your words. With the quote, truly His Spirit is so needed, His spiritual eyes, discernment, wisdom, mercy, and grace… we cannot do it without Him! Blessings to you my friend! ❤
Thank you, your words encapsulate love nicely too… “total unconditional acceptance” I like that… if we have this mindset, imagine how refreshing this would be for others who would sense they wouldn’t have to perform or “measure up” but could just relax, exhale and know they are appreciated for and in spite of who they are… what a weight off their shoulders. So true… His Spirit is needed, may He grant us the “spiritual eyes, discernment, wisdom, mercy, and grace” to so live this way! Blessings to you to my friend, trust all is well with you! ❤️
Yes and amen. I love that we have experienced in the Lord’s presence and His people to “relax, exhale, and know we are appreciated for and in spite of who we are.” I don’t think I would know it otherwise, and it’s still a challenge to walk in every day! And so contrary to logic… grace, acceptance, and love… truly the most powerful agents for change and transformation to be more wholly who we are as God made us! Thank you for your encouraging words and thoughtful responses. You are such a blessing in this space, may the Lord continue to bless your ministry and your heart in every way! I pray everything is well with you! Blessings! ❤
