Clay Vessels

Lord,

Without you,

I’m an empty vessel,

made of dust,

brittle, cracked clay,

empty, dry, and purposeless,

useless for life.

Pour out your Spirit upon me,

fill the empty cavern of my soul,

find my every empty crevice,

bring life to every blood vessel,

energize every cell,

create new life

as my hungry soul meets your dunamis power.

Let waves upon waves of your Spirit,

grace, love, and power

wash upon me.

Give me a new heart,

enlighten, illuminate my mind with your revelation,

invigorate my soul to your will,

activate my body and will for your purposes.

I praise you Lord,

the old has gone,

you have made me a new creation,

and I will forever bless you,

my Maker, my Savior,

Deliverer of my soul.

Lord,

thank you for this moment,

this breath,

to remember you

and give thanks.

It is good;

and all is well with my soul.

Put a new song in my heart today,

and fill me with a spirit of praise,

let my lips be sweet

with lyric and melody,

proclaiming your precious Name,

singing of your glory and goodness,

my heart open wide,

as my hands are lifted up,

my feet swift to dance,

joy chasing my steps.

As I lay my head down to rest,

let me remember your steadfast love,

your faithfulness, your wonderful works

that sustained me through my day,

and marvel at your wisdom,

your thoughts, and your ways

that kept me in the path

of your light and blessing.

Lord, you are the source of life

and the Light of the world,

let me stay close,

ever praising your Name!

Lord,

you are the good Shepherd,

faithful Servant Leader,

the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

You go before me,

clearing the way ahead,

your Spirit hovering over me,

making my path straight.

Clear my vision to see you,

to hear your voice alone,

and to follow you without hesitation.

Let me enjoy your sweet companionship,

knowing I am yours,

and you are mine,

You are the Light of the world,

and I warm my soul in your presence.

Help me to draw close,

resting in your strength,

your wisdom, peace, comfort, and guidance

always near.

Align my being with your heart,

that I would be your willing servant,

partner bride,

fulfilling all of your purposes in and through this life,

that your Name would be glorified

here like it is in the heavens.

You alone are worthy.

Abba,

hide me under the shadow of your wings,

let me dwell under the shelter of the Most High.

Draw me, deliver me out of Babylon,

expose the lure of independence,

being self made, chasing status,

mammon and material things,

all the sin that so easily entangles,

and set me free in You,

submitted to your Word,

truly alive in your Spirit.

Lord, let me love what you love,

and hate what you hate.

Let me delight myself in you,

put in me the desires of your heart,

shrivel away any desires that are not of you,

that my words, my heart, my life

would wholly align with your purposes,

and that my life would be yours

for your glory.

I bless you and praise you Lord.

Cleanse My Heart

Lord,

give me a willing spirit,

a soft and open heart,

to listen to your voice

and receive your Word.

Help me to accept your correction,

embrace your discipline,

and to trust in you,

not my own strength, intelligence, and power

(or lack of).

Help me to draw near to you,

and not the idols presented by the world.

I repent of clinging to my comforts,

numbing through addictions,

distracting myself through busyness and shiny pursuits,

instead of honestly, humbly turning to you.

Cleanse and purify my heart,

give me clean and pure lips,

choice and blessing words,

and let me call on your Name,

in peace and unity with your Spirit.

I praise you and bless you.

Saved For A Purpose

Lord,

thank you for being my Savior,

redeeming my life from the pit,

I was lost in darkness, sin, and trauma,

grasping life for me,

for approval from the world,

slipping down a dangerous slope to death,

yet you saved me unto yourself,

healing and changing my heart,

giving me new desires,

renewing my mind,

transforming me,

I’m a new creation,

you’ve called me your own,

and saved me not only from death,

but to a greater purpose in you.

You’ve reawakened the call of eternity,

the whispers of your breath in my DNA,

calling me to your original design and intent,

what you created my spirit,

knit my soul, body, and mind to do.

I’m done fighting against you,

against your call, against the essence of your image within.

I surrender to you

saying yes with a whole heart

to live for your glory.

I have everything I need in you,

empowered by your Spirit

with access to all the spiritual blessings,

divine resources to fulfill your purposes in this generation.

I thank you that not only do you save,

you give life abundant

forever and ever.

A New Creation

Lord,

there is nothing beyond you,

you are Redeemer, Restorer,

Giver of life abundant,

and I praise you for making all things new.

I am a new creation,

I praise you for new beginnings,

grace for new steps,

fresh strength, and revived energy.

I praise you for healing me

from the inside out,

a second chance

when I’d thought I’d long run out of your mercy.

I praise you,

you’ve been with me all along,

disciplining, transforming, molding, and pruning me,

letting me come to the end of me,

showing me my frailty and weakness,

setting me up in every step

for a blessed life with you,

giving me permission to be free,

understanding spirit,

getting to know my own,

no longer living to and for the world,

but abundantly free in you.

I’m changed,

I’m marked by your Spirit,

I’m a child of God,

I’m beloved,

I know who I am,

I am yours,

always and forever,

because of all you’ve done.

He’s Done It All

Lord,

it is finished,

you have done it all.

You saved me,

absolved all my sins,

past, present, and future,

delivered me out of slavery

from the power of sin

and the fear of death.

You heal all my diseases

of the soul, heart, mind, and body.

You’ve covered all my weaknesses,

failures,

You have given me your Spirit,

I will never die.

I have eternal life,

I’m a new creation in You

with a new call and purpose

to fulfill your will,

establishing your kingdom,

your love and righteousness

upon this earth,

waiting for your return.

There’s nothing I bring,

and everything I receive from you,

you who have covered,

poured out, overcompensated,

filled to overflowing all I will ever need

to live forever in your presence.

I praise you and thank you

from a wondering heart,

let me never stop wondering,

stop tiring of your mercy and love.

Saved And Free

Lord,

thank you for saving me

from the pit of hell where my sins condemned me,

thank you for healing my soul

to understand true love,

your heart that gives, loves,

sets frees, empowers with no guile,

thank you for delivering me

out of the systems of this world,

from the power of the sin and death,

and giving me life eternal,

breathing your Spirit into mine,

awakening word, life, and spirit within me.

Help me to keep myself undefiled by the world,

guarding my heart

from the lies that I’m not enough,

enslaving me to materialism, quick fixes, and busyness

that suffocate my spirit,

and snuff out your Light,

all that you have already done.

Give me grace to renew my mind,

cleansing thoughts to be in alignment

with your Truth, your Word, your Spirit,

that your Spirit and Word dwelling within me

would have free reign

to be, express, live, and love,

establishing your holiness

wherever I go.

There’s nothing I bring to you,

except arms wide open to receive your love

again and again,

empty hands casting away my failures and good credentials,

to fully grasp, cling, hold onto

all that you have done,

I could never save myself,

you have done it all,

and I will praise you and love you always.
