Use Me Lord

Lord,

Keep my lips clean,

my heart pure,

my spirit humble before you,

that I may be an unhindered vessel,

for your holy Spirit, power, and presence,

to pour in and through

to those around me.

Let me be a clay pot,

meek and submitted,

supple in your hands,

blessed to be used by my Potter,

delighting in your joy as my Creator.

I carry a treasure within me,

your Spirit and love

that nothing in heaven and earth can touch or quench.

Would you glorify your Name,

and be pleased to use me,

for you are worthy of all my life.

I lay it down to you Lord.

Lord,

Without you,

I’m an empty vessel,

made of dust,

brittle, cracked clay,

empty, dry, and purposeless,

useless for life.

Pour out your Spirit upon me,

fill the empty cavern of my soul,

find my every empty crevice,

bring life to every blood vessel,

energize every cell,

create new life

as my hungry soul meets your dunamis power.

Let waves upon waves of your Spirit,

grace, love, and power

wash upon me.

Give me a new heart,

enlighten, illuminate my mind with your revelation,

invigorate my soul to your will,

activate my body and will for your purposes.

I praise you Lord,

the old has gone,

you have made me a new creation,

and I will forever bless you,

my Maker, my Savior,

Deliverer of my soul.

Peace And Rest

Lord,

I quiet my heart,

still my thoughts,

open my spirit,

and wait,

with no expectation,

no presumption,

just longing to hear your voice,

to sense your presence,

be still in your love,

knowing you’re right here,

always, with me.

Your Spirit fills me,

cleanses my mind,

refreshes my heart,

and a breath escapes,

releasing my cares to you.

I praise you my Prince of Peace,

and I bless you

for inviting me into your rest.

Armor Of God

Lord,

Strengthen me in you,

let me be empowered

knowing your Spirit dwells within me.

Teach me, show me, help me

to put on and stand in the full armor of God.

When the darkness presses in,

and the schemes, wiles, and deceits of the evil one.

Grant me success and victory,

standing firm with an overcoming spirit,

immovable and absolutely ready,

filled with power, love, and a sound mind.

Grant me an upright heart as my breastplate,

truth, courage, and integrity to bind around my waist,

feet quick to run with the good news,

hoisting up a shield of faith,

to extinguish the fiery arrows of the enemy.

Let me put on the helmet of salvation

wield the sword of your Spirit,

thinking upon your beautiful works,

testifying of your Truth.

Fill me with a spirit of prayer,

alert, active, discerning, persevering,

passionate in my requests,

so that your presence may be with me,

your power at work all around,

and that heaven may come upon earth.

I Need You Spirit

Precious Spirit,

fill me up once more,

indwell me,

empower me,

refresh me,

renew me,

penetrate every cell of my body,

my heart, my mind, my soul,

all that I am,

to walk in the Spirit of Torah,

your heart, your character, your ways.

I cannot do it on my own,

I fail miserably without you,

and I need you Spirit

to live the life my Lord died for me to have.

Help me to kill the things of my flesh,

to choose life,

not death,

so that your light may shine

in and through this life you’ve bought.

Align my heart, my words, my actions

with you Holy Spirit,

take over, take control,

and have your way in me.

Where The Spirit Goes

Lord,

you have set me free,

broken the chains,

released the fetters,

sin and death no longer have a hold on me.

I cling to you,

your Spirit a power, a force,

holy personality moving me forward,

your Word a light,

piercing through the darkness,

beckoning me to come…

be bold, courageous,

have faith.

I’m needing you more

than ever before,

all the way to forever,

please don’t ever let me go.

Let me not shrink back any longer,

but jump on this wild ride,

my heart and life,

sails for your Spirit to fill

wherever, to whomever, you may please.

Bless me, use me,

I say yes and surrender my life to you,

all for your glory.

Beloved Spirit

Spirit,

let me know you rightly,

acknowledging your presence,

personality, directives, feelings, and counsel.

Heighten my awareness

of your thoughts, your perspectives,

the priorities that press for you.

Make me walk in step with you,

sensitive to your nudges,

walking in your rhythm and pace,

moving with you in your suddenlies

when you bring change,

resting in you in the waiting.

Transform me by your power,

fill me, overtake me,

change my heart,

renew my mind,

make me wholly yours.

Into my flesh and resistance

I invite you,

asking you to win despite myself.

Thank you for your presence

dwelling inside me,

with me always.

Let me not offend you,

when I do,

help me to quickly make things right.

I pray to love you,

walk with you,

bless and honor you Spirit.

Saved And Free

Lord,

thank you for saving me

from the pit of hell where my sins condemned me,

thank you for healing my soul

to understand true love,

your heart that gives, loves,

sets frees, empowers with no guile,

thank you for delivering me

out of the systems of this world,

from the power of the sin and death,

and giving me life eternal,

breathing your Spirit into mine,

awakening word, life, and spirit within me.

Help me to keep myself undefiled by the world,

guarding my heart

from the lies that I’m not enough,

enslaving me to materialism, quick fixes, and busyness

that suffocate my spirit,

and snuff out your Light,

all that you have already done.

Give me grace to renew my mind,

cleansing thoughts to be in alignment

with your Truth, your Word, your Spirit,

that your Spirit and Word dwelling within me

would have free reign

to be, express, live, and love,

establishing your holiness

wherever I go.

There’s nothing I bring to you,

except arms wide open to receive your love

again and again,

empty hands casting away my failures and good credentials,

to fully grasp, cling, hold onto

all that you have done,

I could never save myself,

you have done it all,

and I will praise you and love you always.

Lord,

as I look back,

memories surfacing,

thoughts, feelings,

people, places,

ghosts and wisps of the past,

reflecting my face,

who I was,

regrets, questions,

passing joys,

disappointments, pain,

gratitude,

faith, hope,

making me who I am today,

I ask you Spirit,

to illuminate my heart,

reflect on this past year,

and show me what you see.

Hold my hand,

and take me on a journey,

to see your silver thread,

weaving in and out throughout my memories,

so that I won’t miss you,

or miss what you are doing,

where you are leading.

Weave your vision in my heart,

along with faith, hope,

courage and love,

guide me into my tomorrow,

and let my footsteps fall

in step with your melody and rhythm,

so that when another year passes,

I’ll look in my reflection,

and see more of you,

and less of me.

Light of the world,

we bless you.

Thank you for stepping into our darkness,

and saving us,

bringing comfort in our chaos,

opening our eyes and hearts to see

your beautiful mercy,

your welcoming heart,

you who are the only One who saves.

We rest in the sweetness of your Spirit,

your presence like honey,

anointing us with love,

precious fellowship,

warm camaraderie with you,

your good cheer,

happy heart

fills us with gladness,

and we remember you,

we worship you,

and bless you today.
