Under His Shelter

Lord,

quiet my spirit,

calm my heart,

help me to sense your presence,

entering into your shelter

to rest secure under the shadow of your wings.

Thank you that I may always approach you,

freely in Messiah,

His blood has paved the way.

Wrap me up in your comfort,

soothe my frazzled nerves

with the anointing of your presence.

The enemy cannot touch me here.

Thank you for your covering,

your protection,

you are my refuge, my safe place.

Watching safely from here,

I see you destroying my enemies,

shielding me from destruction and harm,

keeping me from plague and evil.

You will never abandon me,

all my days,

I will set my heart upon you.

I bless you Lord.

Uplift My Heart

Lord,

I bless your Name,

for being so close,

your comfort and sweetness

filling my barrenness,

your presence in the midst

of my grief and loss.

Give me an unoffended heart,

cast self pity far from me,

pour out your grace

that I wouldn’t compare

with what isn’t mine,

and instead find true contentment,

resting in your love,

let me bless

even when I feel my lack.

Lord, you are all I need,

I love you and praise your Name.

Amen.

Give Me Strength

Lord,

I praise you and thank you for tender care,

your love and gentleness wrapping around me,

bringing comfort to my body, soul, and spirit.

I thank you for your rest when I feel weak,

thank you that you’re not the one that pushes,

rather it’s me,

so I lay down my own expectations, to-do lists, and pressure,

and just breathe,

resting in your hands,

now aware of your presence,

feeling the anxiety drain from my muscles,

and relief fill my cells.

In my weakness, be strong and rise up within me Lord through this day.

Let it be your Spirit, life, words, love, wisdom, grace, and strength

to minister to my heart and those around me,

that I may decrease so you will increase

and I can still be a faithful witness to your beauty and righteousness.

I’m unable to go forth without your strength and power,

your grace and life,

go before me and rest on me Lord,

I praise you that I have all I need in you for life and holiness,

I have you.

I bless you Lord.

King of the universe,

the one true judge,

in my grief,

when the way is dark,

I bless your name,

remembering that your glory shines

high above the heavens,

and that your light will break through

the heavy clouds overhead,

I bless you O God

for your presence with me,

sweet comfort alongside my mourning,

hope guiding through pain,

strength covering my weakness,

your love finding me in my darkest moments,

and transforming me through grace.

I bless your precious name,
