Rooted In His Word

Lord,

let me delight in your Word,

loving your instruction,

meditating on your rhema

cherishing your guidance and counsel,

my heart wrapping around

your still small voice,

seeking out your whispers and nudges.

Cast away all other voices,

as far from me

as the east is from the west,

and let me be keen to discern,

so that I may not sit, stand, or walk

in worldly counsels

or fellowship in ungodly company.

Let me be an oak tree

firmly planted in living waters,

always blessed, nourished,

and prosperous in your ways,

rooted and grounded in you,

unshakable for whatever the future may hold.

Make it so Lord,

I put my faith in you.

I bless your Name.

Word Of Life

Abba,

I thank you for your love,

sending your Son down,

He came to save the world,

dying for for all our sins,

not condemn it,

to give life forever.

I praise you that you have always, only

drawn me by love

by your Spirit,

and I’m grateful for your words,

so different from the accusations of the enemy

and my own self condemnation.

Your words are life-giving, gentle, and kind,

wise, instructive, and gracious,

bringing peace and comfort,

merciful refreshing and restoration.

Cleanse me once more with your Word,

put a burning coal upon my lips

that my guilt would be taken away

and my sin atoned for.

Anoint me with a fresh grace

to speak words that bring healing and life

from a gentle heart and soothing tongue,

spreading wisdom and knowledge of you,

lifting up prayers that you hear and delight in.

Give me a willing heart to learn from your Son

gentle and humble in heart.

Thank you for your love,

the Word,

and life eternal in you.

A Blessed Life

Abba,

Let me love and be alert as I read your Word,

give me a soft, malleable heart willing to learn.

Open my ears to hear your instruction,

let your Word always be before me,

help me to treasure what you speak in the depths of my heart.

Your Word, your instruction, your counsel

bring life, healing, wholeness, and renewal,

healing and cleansing my heart, mind, and body.

Help me to guard my heart and all that you’ve done in me,

knowing the pleasant boundaries you’ve established

to keep me safe, whole, and happy.

Let your rivers of living water flow unhindered from my spirit,

and show me if and where there is anything blocking

that’s displeasing to you.

Please help me with my tongue,

let my yes be yes and my no be no,

help me to communicate clearly

and let me speak truth in love.

Direct my gaze straight,

give me strength to move forward

making the next right decision and the next,

bold as a lion in righteousness and courage.

Help me to make good choices,

considering the paths before me,

making sure my ways are steadfast and sure.

Give me blinders that I would not look right or left,

tempted by evil,

but continue on in the way you’ve set before me.

I thank you that you’re watching over me,

that you’re with me and I’m not alone.

Let me lead a blessed life according to your Word,

that others may see your goodness and praise you.

O Lord,

I love your Word

as I imbibe,

it courses through my veins,

bringing life and healing to every cell —

nurturing, replenishing, and restoring to original design.

You bring healing to all my flesh,

life to all my bones,

and you teach me to renew my mind,

praising, loving, stewarding what you have created.

You are the source of life,

only you can transform and resurrect.

I love your Spirit,

I love your Word,

I love your presence,

I am blessed and loved in Messiah!
