A New Creation

Lord,

there is nothing beyond you,

you are Redeemer, Restorer,

Giver of life abundant,

and I praise you for making all things new.

I am a new creation,

I praise you for new beginnings,

grace for new steps,

fresh strength, and revived energy.

I praise you for healing me

from the inside out,

a second chance

when I’d thought I’d long run out of your mercy.

I praise you,

you’ve been with me all along,

disciplining, transforming, molding, and pruning me,

letting me come to the end of me,

showing me my frailty and weakness,

setting me up in every step

for a blessed life with you,

giving me permission to be free,

understanding spirit,

getting to know my own,

no longer living to and for the world,

but abundantly free in you.

I’m changed,

I’m marked by your Spirit,

I’m a child of God,

I’m beloved,

I know who I am,

I am yours,

always and forever,

because of all you’ve done.

I love you and bless you Lord.

New Beginnings

Lord,

I bless you for new beginnings

found in you every moment and every day.

I praise you for your grace and love

that speaks life into my failures and setbacks,

comforting and empowering me for my every step.

Thank you for your rhythm and wisdom

that takes me through the ebbs and flows of time

riding through the weeks and seasons

with your perspective, knowledge, and understanding.

I praise you that you are a God of order,

not chaos or confusion,

and that you will bring me into the right place at the right time,

as long as I seek your face.

I rest knowing that you are in control,

active, moving, and working on my behalf

with a guileless heart, good, loving, powerful, and wise,

that you work all things for the good of those who love you.

Thank you that it’s not all on me,

I place my full confidence in you.

Take the helm of my life,

please take full control,

I bless you Lord for the promise of life

from you the Source of life,

the fountain of living water,

my heart overflows with your presence with me

in and through all things to come.

Love Is The Goal

Lord,

I praise you for new beginnings,

where love is the goal,

loving you by bringing all of me,

exposing every piece of me to your grace

and your unending waves of mercy and kindness

breaking over me…

enabling me to rise again and again,

to see by your Spirit through the eyes of my heart,

cleansed continually of sin, wounds, and lies,

now open to the beauty in others,

that you’ve placed as a treasure to seek.

I bless you as you call me forth,

realizing now I never had to be perfect to answer,

and I rise from a long, barren wilderness,

leaning on you, my Beloved,

forgetting what is behind,

and pressing on towards the goal of heavenly love,

sweet intimacy with you Lord.
