Quiet In Love

Lord,

I praise you for your time and timing,

your rhythms and cycles,

ebbs and flows,

and I welcome your shabbat,

your rest today at the end of this week.

Thank you for your heartbeat

pulsing through me,

though my week,

for your presence with me,

your Spirit’s counsel, guidance, and love

hovering over me,

disciplining, leading, moving me

forward into greater plains of your freedom and grace.

I praise you for this day to pause,

to be still

and remember, reflect

on your beauty, glory, and holiness.

You are so good,

active, invisible, powerful, and mighty,

buoying me and my loved ones up in your love.

I love you and will quiet my soul,

satisfied as a weaned baby in your arms.

I bless you Lord.

Amen.

The End Of 2020

Father,

I praise you for your strong hand,

your outstretched arm

that plucked me out of my race to the grave

and eternity in darkness from you.

You have held me close,

disciplined me in the shelter of your wings,

given me rest in your mighty shadow.

I praise you for your mighty work of redemption,

your quieting and shaking of my soul,

your comfort, healing, and redemption,

your work, power, and spirit

in the quiet turbulence of a soul locked down, locked in.

I praise you for all you’ve done this year,

drawing me closer to you,

gracing me with repentance,

and enabling me to come, bow my knee to your Son,

to know Him as the Way, the Truth, the Light,

King of Kings, Lord of Lords.

Thank you for a year of shaking, healing, and light.

I bless your name.

Amen.

With You

Bless you Lord,

for your love and power

your Spirit within me

that transforms me from the inside out,

and raises me like Lazarus from the dead,

shedding off old rags, identities that no longer define me,

breaking the hard, cold shell

hiding the insecure imposter that was me.

You slip behind my defenses,

your truth is gentle, full of kindness,

your grace empowering, full of hope,

and by your Spirit, your power works within me

that resurrected you from cold death,

to glorious life seated high in the throne room of heaven by the Father,

You mold me and make me,

to who I was meant to be,

with you.

For your pleasure and glory,

Amen.

Bless You Friend

Bless you sister and brother,

reading this prayer post,

and the beautiful reflection of the Creator that you are,

perfect in your form, shape, personality, strengths, and gifts,

beloved and lovely in your limitations, weakness, and failures.

You are made for a purpose,

Your life is needed,

You have a call,

Though you may have been tested for a time,

Yeshua knows you and loves you,

and has overcome all your sin, shame, pride, humiliation, and embarrassment,

He’s overcome all your demons and torment,

Greater is He within you, than he who’s in the world.

Your life is in His hands,

and He is the author and perfecter of your faith,

No weapon forged against you shall prevail,

and He is the lifter of your head.

You are free, you have overcome, and you are more than a conqueror

in Messiah, who died for you, was buried, and was resurrected

to the right hand of God seated up in heaven.

May there be no limits to your faith, hope, and joy,

May His peace abide in you and His love secure you,

to simply be you today, beloved by Him.

Amen.

I Will Follow You

Precious Lord,

You faithfully lead and guide,

along the path of life,

narrow and hemmed in,

I follow your footsteps,

bringing refreshment and resources

in your perfect timing and grace,

I rest in the green pastures you lead me to,

and drink from the streams of your living Word,

I cling to the hem of your garment

in the shadows and valleys,

knowing you will see me through,

and on the mountain peaks and wide plateaus,

I run, sing, dance, and fall on my knees

because your goodness and joy,

I can’t contain.

You are my Shepherd, I shall not want,

and I trust you and bless your Name today.

Amen.

and worship you.

My Soul Is Well

Abba,

In your hands you hold my life,

my body is dust returning to dust,

my time here fragile and short,

like a snowflake already melting away.

Life and loved ones pass through,

leaving suddenly

reminding me of the thin veil

between here and there,

Tomorrow isn’t promised to me,

your breath and power sustain me today.

In my weakness,

I sense your control and strength,

Holding me close, holding me safe,

as I surrender my illusory control to you.

I’ll trust in, lean on, depend on you today,

taking every thought captive,

casting every care on you,

resting in your atonement and resurrection,

knowing I’m alive,

and my soul is well in you.

Amen.

Let Your Mercy Flow

Photo by Annie Spratt on Unsplash.

Merciful Lord,

I repent to you,

please cleanse my heart

from all the ways I’ve allowed the world to seep in,

disentangle me from its hooks

twisting my fear and insecurity,

holding me in offense and bondage.

I bring all of myself to you,

not holding back the ugly parts,

trusting you welcome the broken and contrite heart,

with all of you.

Touch my heart once more with your mercy and goodness,

let your grace and kindness flow out of this broken vessel,

water the parched ground around me,

and bring those who you would grow with me,

to surround me,

make our hearts fertile soil,

for your beautiful grace and truth to grow,

to love you with all our heart,

that we may together,

grasp how high, long, wide, and deep your love is,

and give you all our praise.

Amen.

My Protection

Photo by David Vig on Unsplash.

Abba Father,

I ask your protection over my heart,

over my mind,

cleanse my eyes, my ears

with your blood,

that I may see all things rightly,

in love and in truth,

protect me from the evil one,

its deception and its ways,

expose where its voice has become all too familiar,

sounding like mine.

I choose to hear your voice alone today,

convicting, encouraging, loving,

I choose to fear you alone today,

not my circumstances, any person or problem in my way,

trusting you’re close to me,

you’re moving in the invisible realm,

and that you’re so faithful

to deliver me every single time.

I fix my gaze on you today,

Adonai Tzva’ot, Lord of my Refuge,

Amen.
