Thank You Lord

Lord,

Thank you that you are gentle and humble in heart,

kind and patient with my failures and mistakes.

You are my humble King.

Thank you that your cadence and walk are unrushed, measured,

intentional with ease,

light, unpressured, strong.

You are my good Shepherd.

Thank you that your voice calls me to rest and healing,

life, beauty, and simplicity.

You are my life and eternal sanity.

Thank you for your wisdom and encouragement,

your ever present help and counsel.

You are my compass and north star,

the way, the truth, my life.

Thank you for upholding my heart,

knowing me, and loving me,

and advocating for me still.

You show me my heavenly Father,

His goodness and love,

and that I forever have a place

to rest secure and belong.

I love you Lord,

you are the light of my life.

Amen.

You Are Faithful

Lord,

I remember your faithfulness

and your hand of provision and mercy,

revealing Abba’s heart and His love for me,

drawing me into sonship and identity.

Thank you that you’re with me,

you’ll never leave me nor forsake me.

Thank you that your grace is sufficient for me,

that I can do all things in you, with you.

Thank you that your ways bring peace,

your yoke is easy, and your burden is light.

Thank you that I can lay my pressures and heaviness at your feet,

giving you my broken everything,

and lean on, trust in, depend on you,

not on my own blind understanding,

and when I acknowledge you in my daily,

you will be make my paths straight.

You are faithful Lord,

and I put my trust and hope in you.

Abba,

You are so good,

holding me secure,

you have my back,

my eternal safety net.

Your presence enlivens me,

reviving my heart,

you Spirit captivates,

soothing my soul,

comforting, enriching my heart.

How can I ever thank you,

for the belief you placed in

this stony heart,

to receive your love

that abounds throughout creation

and all the earth.

I’ll spend eternity praising you

for these eyes you open

to see your new mercies everyday.

There’s none like you God,

I put my trust in you alone,

for you alone satisfy.

I bless your name.
