Lord,
I praise you for your healing,
making me whole, complete in you.
As you bring together the pieces of my heart,
I pray for the Body of Messiah whom you love
that you are doing the same.
Bring us together in you,
wrapping the different streams
tightly as one cord around you Lord.
Would you rebuke the voice of the enemy
from your Bride,
protect us from the spirit of dissension,
offense and bitterness.
Pour out your grace
and a spirit of unity
in our families, communities,
congregations, and ministries.
Help us to love one another in spirit and truth,
standing firm in our faith,
looking beyond temporal differences
to eternal fellowship,
running this race
fighting the fight together,
as we cannot do it alone.
We long to know and experience
your blessing and anointing
when we are together
unified as your Bride.
Help us to fulfill your purposes
in this generation.
We praise you Lord.

Unity is the atmosphere of God. They who know of His fragrance pursue the unity to which we are called. “that they also may be one in us…” Jn. 17:21

Amen… I can’t wait to experience the perfect unity between Father, Son, and Spirit when we get to heaven…

“That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.”
Jesus prayed for this to be the reality here that the world may come to believe.
I had my own crisis of faith with this but it has since been settled – if I do not believe that the Father is not going to fully answer the prayer of the I have no right to pray.
The truth of has changed my purpose in life … I now seek to live that the prayer of the Son be answered here “on earth”. When Jesus was teaching His disciples to pray the phrase “Thy Will be Done of earth AS it is in heaven” The issue is not His word but our faith.

I’ve read this passage before, but your words have truly made me pause to think, imagine, and wonder what and how this would be manifested on earth…. this perfect unity. You are so right, it is His Word, it is possible, it is the Lord’s prayer for us, truly may He grant faith in all believers to enter into this.
